|With the cancellation of events, we plan to substitute them with a series of WebEx meetings using the software provided by Zoom (https://zoom.us/)
The software is free and contains some excellent tutorial videos. Please try the system in advance and locate the “chat” function which appears during a WebEx as a bubble. Depending on the numbers that attend, you may need to ask a question using this facility? Of course, you can ask questions post the event via the questions function on the angel platform or by emailing us directly.
We also apologies in advance for any challenges with this process as there will a lot of learnings on both sides
The proposed programme is: –
Tuesday 31st March at 09:30 – 10:00 (15min Pitch, 10 mins questions, 5mins post discussion)
Wednesday 1st April at 12:00 -12:30 (as above)
Friday 3rd April 09:30 -10:30 – 2 companies to pitch
We will repeat the sequence again on the 7th, 8th and 9th April (Friday 10th April is Good Friday). Subject to the traction the series will repeat itself again starting the 28th April (28th, 29th & 1st May, then 5th, 6th 7th May) etc.
The meetings are closed hence for registered members only, so please don’t share the link. If you haven’t renewed your membership, please do as soon as possible plus return all the necessary forms.
Next steps: –
1. Friday 20th March – Eventbrite issued inviting you to the above meetings. Please accept even if you only intend to attend one session. We some mechanism to log attendees.
2. Friday 27th March – Calendar invite sent to attendees together with a link to the Zoom WebEx.
3. Tuesday 31st March first WebEx 09:30 -10:00
This is a very much a “suck it and see”, and your understanding is appreciated in advance. It’s also accepted investing may be difficult but its hoped by creating these connections with our members and entrepreneurs there are other advantages on lots of levels. My mantra remains your contacts, and experience can be as valuable as your financial support.
Hopefully, the situation will not last too long, and we can perhaps use the 6th July in London to reconnect with the best companies?
|With kind regards,
