Having completed a review of the many investments made by Minerva Business Angels part of the University of Warwick Science Park I can report our Angels have invested in 98 companies since 2010. 43 are Midlands based which puts us as one of the top organisations actively investing and supporting Midlands-based companies.

Fantastic news!

We can also look back further. In 1994 the first incantation of a Business Angels group supported by the University of Warwick Science Park made its first investment making us one of England’s oldest networks. It is a truly awesome achievement! Many have failed.

It’s also a reflection of the fantastic support the University of Warwick through the Science Park has given to entrepreneurs, Angels, tech startups, spinouts and scale-ups and should be applauded.
